When people go to a football game, they want a seat on the fifty-yard line.

When they go to a basketball game, they want sit at mid-court.

When they attend a play8, they want a seat about midway in the auditorium.

When they go to a baseball game, they want a seat behind home plate.

When they go to a parade, they want to stand in the front line,

BUT – when they go to church, the same ones want a back seat – WHY?

Why is it that people want the Bible read when they get married and when they are buried? They want it read when they’re in trouble, but they have little interest in reading the Bible when they have ample opportunity and then stay away from Bible study with other Christians. Why? Anybody got a good answer?
